When guests first consider a Monaco Grand Prix yacht experience, the most common question is also the hardest to answer in a single number: how much does it actually cost? The honest answer is that yacht hospitality at Monaco covers a wide spectrum, from a seat on a day charter to a full buyout of a 70 metre superyacht with paddock access. This guide explains each tier, what drives the price, and where the genuine value sits for the 2026 weekend. If you are new to the format, start with our VIP yacht experience guide before returning here.

We have written this as a reference for buyers, not a sales sheet. No urgency, no scarcity tactics, simply the numbers, the structure, and the trade offs so you can decide which tier matches how you want to spend the weekend.

Why There Is No Single Price for a Monaco Yacht Experience

Yacht hospitality at Monaco is priced along four variables. The first is the vessel. A 30 metre motor yacht, a 50 metre charter yacht and a 70 metre superyacht sit in very different price brackets even before hospitality is layered on. The second is the berth. A yacht positioned inside Port Hercule, directly alongside the circuit, commands a significant premium over a boat anchored outside the harbour. The third is the duration, whether Saturday only, Sunday only, or the full 5 to 7 June race weekend. The fourth is inclusion. Some packages are seats with a buffet, others are complete hospitality programmes with private transfers, paddock access and an assigned crew.

The Price Tiers, Explained

Entry level yacht access, typically a shared day charter outside the circuit on Sunday, is the least expensive way to experience the race from the water. Pricing usually starts in the low five figures per guest and reflects the reality: the vantage point is a view of the harbour, not of the track itself.

Mid tier hospitality places guests on a yacht berthed inside Port Hercule for one or two race days, with inclusive food and drink service. Pricing sits in the mid five figures per guest and includes a genuine trackside view of the chicane and swimming pool complex.

Full VIP weekend hospitality, the tier most serious guests ultimately choose, covers all three days on a superyacht berthed inside the circuit, with private transfers, full catering, open champagne bars, concierge service and paddock access. Pricing varies by vessel and cabin, but the inclusions are what justify the figure: nothing on the weekend is billed separately.

Finally, full buyouts of a superyacht for a private party start in the high six figures and scale into the low seven figures depending on the vessel. This tier is for groups who want complete privacy and control of the itinerary.

What Drives the Final Number

Three inputs move the price the most. Berth position is the dominant factor, and a yacht positioned alongside the chicane is worth measurably more than one moored at the harbour entrance. Cabin selection is the second. Master cabins with private terraces are priced above standard twin cabins, as expected. The third is the depth of hospitality, which includes the chef's background, the ratio of crew to guests, whether paddock access is on Saturday, Sunday or both, and whether private ground transfers are included from Nice Côte d'Azur.

Beware any price that seems significantly below the market. Monaco berths are a finite resource. If a quote looks too good, the yacht is usually not inside the circuit, the hospitality is reduced, or the access promised does not actually exist.
