1. Who we are
This website, vip.eliterentalsdubai.com, is operated by ELITE FIRST CLASS YACHTS L.L.C(trading as “Elite Rentals Dubai”), a company registered in the United Arab Emirates under Trade Licence No. 1035253 and Registration No. 1683188 (TRN 104017784000003). References to “we”, “us” or “our” in this policy are references to that company.
We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site. For any privacy enquiry you can contact us at info@dubaiyachtbooking.com or +971 55 158 8481.
2. What data we collect
We collect personal data in two main ways.
Data you give us directly when you message us on WhatsApp, fill in a lead form on the site, or proceed to a booking. This typically includes your name, email address, phone number, group size, dates and any preferences you share to help us prepare a proposal.
Data collected automatically when you visit the site: IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, referring URL, and standard server log data. We use cookies and similar technologies to support analytics and marketing measurement (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel) and to detect abuse.
When you proceed to payment, your card details are collected directly by Stripe on Stripe’s hosted checkout page. We do not see, store or process your card number, CVC or expiry on our own systems.
3. Why we use your data
We use personal data only for the following purposes:
- To respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal and manage your booking.
- To process payments through Stripe and to send you receipts, invoices and confirmations.
- To deliver the hospitality you have booked, including transfers, catering and concierge requests.
- To improve the website and our service through aggregate analytics.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations under UAE law.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access to our systems.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use it to make automated decisions that produce legal effects on you.
4. Legal bases (for guests in the EU/EEA and UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to your data, we rely on these legal bases:
- Performance of a contract— to deliver the booking you have requested.
- Legitimate interests— to operate the site, prevent fraud, and improve our service in ways that do not override your rights.
- Consent— for non-essential cookies, analytics and marketing communications you opt into.
- Legal obligation— to keep accounting and tax records as required.
5. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers we need to run the business, and only the data they need to do their job. These currently include:
- Stripe Payments(payment processing — payment data is collected by Stripe directly on its hosted checkout).
- Vercel (website hosting and content delivery).
- Google(Analytics, Tag Manager and Search Console — aggregated traffic measurement).
- Meta(Pixel — ad measurement and audience signals).
- Yacht crew, F1 hospitality partners and ground transfer providers— the specific guest details they need to deliver your weekend (name, group size, arrival and dietary preferences).
Some of these providers operate outside the UAE. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on each provider’s standard contractual clauses or equivalent transfer safeguards under applicable law.
6. How long we keep data
We retain enquiry and booking records for as long as needed to deliver the service and to meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations — typically up to seven years from the end of the relevant financial year. Marketing contacts are retained until you unsubscribe. Server logs and aggregated analytics are retained for shorter periods set by each provider.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@dubaiyachtbooking.com. We will respond within thirty days.
If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. Where you are resident in the UAE, the UAE Data Office is the relevant authority for personal data protection.
8. Cookies
The site uses essential cookies needed to operate, and non-essential cookies for analytics and marketing measurement. Non-essential cookies are loaded on the basis of your consent where applicable. You can manage cookies through your browser at any time. Disabling non-essential cookies will not affect your ability to enquire or book.
9. Security
We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk: TLS encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging, and a small number of named personnel authorised to handle booking data. Card data is held by Stripe under PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance and never reaches our own infrastructure.
10. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices, the law or our service providers change. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
