Monaco Grand Prix VIP Yacht Tickets: Options Explained

Monaco Grand Prix VIP yacht tickets: shared viewing, full hospitality and private charter compared. Inclusions, berths and 2026 prices explained.

Published ·5 min read·

Monaco yacht tickets cover a wider range than most people realise. The phrase is used for a day ticket on a shared charter yacht and for the private charter of an eighty metre superyacht. Everything between those two points is also on offer, and the experience differences are large.

This guide maps the three categories of Monaco yacht access for 2026, explains what changes between them, and details the factors that matter most when choosing: berth location inside Port Hercule, crew ratio, hospitality scope and cabin configuration for overnight stays.

Three Categories of Yacht Access

Shared yacht viewing is the most accessible entry point. Operators sell per guest day tickets on medium sized charter yachts positioned inside or near Port Hercule. Guests board on race morning, receive a buffet lunch and open bar, watch the race from the deck, and disembark in the evening. Packages cover one day or three days with separate tickets per session.

Full hospitality yachts are the middle tier. These are larger yachts, typically 40 to 70 metres, chartered by an operator and resold as a complete multi day hospitality product. Guests often stay on board for two or three nights in cabins, with continuous hospitality through the weekend.

Private charter is the top tier. Your group books a specific yacht for the full weekend, with exclusive use of every deck, every cabin, and every crew member. This is the Monaco yacht experience that appears in editorial features, and it is priced accordingly.

Berth Position Matters More Than Yacht Size

Port Hercule sits at the heart of the circuit. A yacht berthed on the inside edge of the harbour, along the Quai Antoine or Quai des États-Unis, sits directly alongside the circuit. Guests watch the cars pass at eye level through the chicane and swimming pool sequence.

A yacht moored further out in the harbour, at anchor or on an outer pontoon, is still in a beautiful setting but the race is a distant view. The atmosphere is still excellent, but the on water theatre of the circuit is reduced. Before booking, always confirm the berth position rather than accepting a generic description of the harbour.

Berth positions inside the circuit are limited and fully allocated years in advance. This is why booking through a partner with a confirmed allocation matters, and why the same size yacht can sell at very different prices depending on where it is berthed.

What Full Hospitality Yachts Include

A full hospitality yacht package for 2026 typically covers a reserved berth inside Port Hercule for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Cabins are included for guests staying overnight. A permanent crew handles the yacht. A private chef prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner each day, usually with a rotating menu rather than a single set meal.

Open bars run throughout each session, with champagne, premium spirits, wine and soft drinks included. Transfers from Nice Côte d'Azur airport are usually part of the package, sometimes by helicopter on top tier operators. Paddock access on qualifying day or race day is often included.

Our 2026 superyacht programme covers each of these inclusions. The F1 Monaco VIP tickets page lists every element with timing for each day, and the luxury packages guide compares tiers side by side.

Group Sizes and Pricing Logic

Yacht pricing moves with party size. A shared yacht ticket is quoted per guest, typically 2,500 to 5,000 euros per person per day. A full hospitality package on a larger yacht is usually quoted per guest for a multi day stay, typically 15,000 to 40,000 euros for the full weekend depending on cabin category.

Private charter is quoted for the yacht. A 50 metre yacht for the race weekend starts around 250,000 euros. A 70 metre yacht sits between 600,000 and 900,000 euros. Above 100 metres, prices exceed one million euros for the weekend. These totals divide across the party, which is why private charter can work efficiently for groups of ten to twenty guests.

Booking Timing and Cabin Allocation

For 2026, shared yacht tickets remain available into the spring months in most years. Full hospitality yachts with cabins typically sell out by February or March. Private charter at a confirmed inside berth is usually committed by the previous summer.

Cabin allocation on multi guest yachts usually follows a simple rule. Primary suites go first, either to the booking organiser or the earliest confirmed guests. Secondary cabins are allocated in booking order. If cabin category matters to your group, secure the booking as early as possible. Our team walks guests through allocation at the booking stage, which you can follow through the Monaco yacht experience price guide and then proceed to reserve through our booking channel.
